Come on join the joyride

Viime viikonlopun teemana oli nostalgia! Me huomattiin viikkoa ennen konserttia että Roxette on tulossa konsertoimaan Antwerpeniin. Onneksi saatiin vielä seisomapaikat lavan edestä meinaa koko konsertti oli kyllä lopulta loppuunmyyty. Me ollaan kyllä siinä mielessä onnekkaita että kaikki isot nimet tulevat Antwerpenin kautta. 

Me startattiin heti töiden jälkeen, odoteltiin jonossa ja jännitettiin. Tietysti takana oli muita suomalaisia, eihän niistä pääse eroon missään haha. Sitten rauhallisesti mentiin saliin ja oltiinkin yhtäkkiä toisessa rivissä. Ihanaa olla konsertissa jossa keski-ikä kohoaa noin 40 vuoteen niin se töniminen ja muu ikävä käyttäytyminen jää pois heti.

Konsertti oli aivan mahtava! Marie ja Per eivät ole muuttuneet mitenkään ja show oli vieläkin huippu! Marie ei ole enää niin hyvässä kunnossa, mutta ääntä häneltä lähtee ihan samalla voimalla kuin ennenkin. Korvat suristen ja hymy huulilla lähdettiin sieltä kyllä kotia kohti. UPEETA!

// The theme of last weekend was nostalgia! We noticed a week before the concert that Roxette was coming to Antwerp. We were very lucky to still get standing seats in front of the stage cuz it was sold out in the end. We are in that way very lucky that all the big names pass through Antwerp. 

We started to go straight after work, waited in line and were nervous. Of course there were Finnish people behind us waiting to get in, you really can't get rid of them haha. Then we calmly got ourselves towards the hall and ended up in the second row. I loved attending a concert where the middle age was nearing 40 so there was no pushing or other lame behavior. 

The concert was awesome! Marie and Per haven't changed a bit and the show was great. Marie's health isn't what it used to be but she sure as hell sings with the same power as before. We left with our ears ringing but big smiles on our faces. MAGNIFICENT!
