Meillä oli pöydillä yksinkertaiset kukka-asetelmat tietenkin laventelin väreissä ja paljon vihreetä. Mieheni valitsi mun morsiuskimpun, siinä oli ruusuja sekä orkideoita - todella kaunis. Kukkaistytölle oli teetätetty mini versio minun kimpustani.
Saimme myös pari ihanaa kukkakimppua jotka sitten piristivät olohuonetta kahden viikon ajan. Nyt on aika tyhjä olo kun kaikki kukat ovat poissa, jospa sitä alkais ostamaan viikottain kukkia tuomaan väriä elämään?

// We had simple flower arrangements on every table of course in lavendel colour and a lot of green. My husband chose my bouquet, it had roses and orchids - it was really pretty. We made a mini version for my flower girl.
We received a few really pretty bouquets that brightend up my living room for two weeks. Now I weel so empty when all the flowers are gone, perhaps I should start buying a bouquet weekly to bring some colour in to my life?

Me askarreltiin omat nimilaput häiden teemaväreissä ja yhdistettiin samassa kiitoskortit niihin. Ehkä me lähetetään viralliset kiitoskortit myös, sitten kun saadaan kaikki kuvat valokuvaajalta, ei olla vielä päätetty sitä.
Kaason kanssa me valittiin näitä kortteja parisen tuntia kaupassa, tehdäänkö kaikki itse vai olisiko joku valmis vaihtoehto parempi. Sitten kun saatiin päätettyä että mitä me halutaan ni sitten piti löytää vielä joku rako että saatais tehtyä kaikki kortit. Viikkoa ennen häitä me tehtiin niitä koko ilta ja vähän taisi mennä yönkin puolelle. Aika kova homma niissä lopulta oli, mutta kun näin lopputuloksen niin olin jo unohtanut täysin kuinka toivoin että ne loppuis edellisenä päivänä. Niistä tuli todella kauniit. Sitten harmitti kun en tehnyt itselle yhtä, mutta onneksi joku unohti häissä ottaa sen mukaan niin nappasin sen itselleni... :-)

// We made ourselves the name cards and thank you cards in the colour theme of the wedding. We combined the two, but maybe we will send afterwards some official thank you cards after all, once we receive all the pictures from the photographer. We didn't decide that yet.
We were in the store with my maid of honor for hours thinking what kind of cards we should make and should we make them ourselves or choose a ready-made option. Once we decided what we wanted, then we still needed to find a moment to make them. A week before the wedding we made them all evening and I think part of the night too. It was quite a tough job, but once I saw the end result I totally forgot all the misery. They turned out so pretty! Then I felt bad I didn't make one for myself, but someone forgot theirs so I snatched them for myself :-)

Meidän valokuvaaja lähetti meille pari kuvaa etukäteen ja ne ei jätä kylmäksi!
Me haluttiin että valokuvaaja tulee maistraattiin ja sitten sen jälkeen tehdään kunnon photoshoot kaupungilla. Meillä oli hauskaa kun käveltiin hienot puvut päällä ja pysähdyttiin pari kertaa terasille juomaan oluset. Me saatiin paljon huomiota, ihmiset onnitteli ja alkoi itsekin ottaa meistä kuvia. Se tuntui aivan oudolta mutta myös niin kivalta! Tunsin itseni kaikkein kauneimmaksi koko kaupungissa. Yksi nainen oikein pysähtyi ja kysyi olimmeko oikeasti menneet naimisiin. Se oli hassua.
Oletteko te törmänneet morsiameen keskellä kaupunkia? Entäs keskellä kaupungilla terassilla olut kädessä? Haha. Tehty!
Juhlapaikalla meillä ei ollut valokuvaajaa, mutta kuvia on kyllä riittämiin! Meidän kameran kanssa juoksi yksi jos toinenkin ja ihana veljen vaimo toi hänen hienon kameransa ja jaksoi heilua sen kanssa riittämiin. Kyllä sunnuntaina sai nauraa niille kuville :-)
Ihanaa kun saa elää sitä päivää uudestaan ja uudestaan ihanien kuvien kautta.
// Our photographer sent us a few pictures upfront and they are so awesome!
We wanted the photographer to come to the city hall and afterwards we went off to do a photoshoot in the city. We had such a blast walking around with our dresss and costume and we even stopped a few times to have a beer at a terrace. We got so much attention, people congratulated us and started to take photos of us too! I felt the prettiest girl in the whole city. One woman even stopped to ask us did we really just get married. That was funny.
Have you ever bumped in to a bride in the city? What about in the city with a beer in her hand? Haha. Check! Been there done that.
At the party location we didn't have a photographer but we have more than enough of clicks! Lots of volunteers to run around with our camera and my brother's wife was so lovely to bring her nice new camera and she was busy all night. I had a good laugh on Sunday when I checked the photos :-)
It is so amazing to live that day over and over through all the photos.
Rouva Hanna ilmottautuu! Hui aika outoa.
Hermostutti aika tavalla aamulla, mutta sitten kun saatiin meikit kuntoon ja kunnantalolla 'tahdon' sanottua, ni alkoi helpottaa. Sitten käytiin ottamassa valokuvia kaupungilla. Se oli aika hassua kävellä hääpuku päällä kaupungilla, ihmiset ottivat meistä kuvia ja toivottivat paljon onnea. Ne valokuvat tulevat joku viiden viikon päästä, ni saadaan sitten kunnon kuvia blogiin.
Sen jälkeen meillä oli juhlapaikalla seremonia ja tietysti juhlat. Juhlapaikka oli ihana, joka sai paljon kehuja jälkeenpäin kaikilta että tunnelma oli ihana. Seremonia suomalaisen papin kanssa pidettiin ulkona, vaikka aika kylmä siellä kyllä oli. Selvittiin siitä ja saatiin juhlat alkuun. Syötiin hyvin, juotiin hyvin ja tanssittiin kahteen asti.
Kaikki meni melkein nappiin, jotkut asiat menivät toisin kuin suunniteltiin, jotkut asiat unohtui mutta vieraiden silmissä kaikki meni nappiin. Ja menihän ne nappiin! Aliarvioin aika paljon kuinka paljon huomiota hääpari saa osakseen kun kaikki haluaa jutustella, ja se vei aika paljon energiaa eikä ehditty paljoa toistemme seurasta nauttia, mutta ehditäänhän me sitä nyt tehdä :-)
Häämatkalle suunnataan kesäkuussa ja kohteena Turkki. All-in hotelli ja oma ranta hotellilla. Me nautittaan <3

I was quite nervous in the morning, but when we got the make up right and the 'I do' said at the city hall, I started to calm down. Then we went off to take photos in the city. It was quite weird to walk around in your wedding dress in the middle of the city, people taking pictures and congratulating us. We will get the professional photos in about 5 weeks, then I can put them on the blog.
Afterwards we had the ceremony at the party place and of course the party. The place was amazing which got a lot of compliments afterwards for its great atmosphere. The ceremony with a Finnish priest was held outside altough it was quite cold. We survived and the party could start. We ate well, drank well and danced until two o'clock.
Everything went almost perfectly, some things totally differently as planned and other stuff forgotten but in the eyes of the guests it all went perfectly. And they totally were perfect! I absolutely underestamated how much attention the wedding couple gets when everyone wants to have a piece of you. It takes up a lot of energy and we didn't get to spend a lot of time together. But we can do that now :-)
We are off to our honeymoon in June, we are heading to Turkey! All-in hotel with a private beach of the hotel. We will enjoy <3
