I'm off to Dublin

Päätettiin että tänä vuonna me lomaillaan ja nähdään paikkoja! Me aloitetaan Irlannista. Miksi? Sinne on halpa lentää, siellä on mukavia ihmisiä, kauniit maisemat, ymmärretään kieltä (joten kuten ;-D) ja se on ollut Angelon TO DO - listalla jo vähän aikaa. Mä olin heti messissä! 

Mä menin ja varasin liput halpalentoyhtiöltä, joka sitten vähän yllätti minut lopulta kun siinä tuli yhtä sun toista lisämaksua päälle.. Mutta oli ne liput silti lopulta halvat kun jakaa sen summan kahdella. Hotellin etsiminen olikin sitten ihan eri asia... Ei oikeen mikään ollut hyvä kun luin koko illan muiden ihmisten kommentteja. Valitsin sitten yhden ja tänään aamulla mä sitten peruin sen ja valitsin toisen. Menin kuitenkin lopulta takaisin alkuperäiseen. Vieläkään en ole varma onko hyvä vaihtoehto, mutta kai se sitten selviää!! 

Aikomuksena on käydä ainakin Jamesonin ja Guinnessin panimoilla, Trinity Collegessa, yhdessä Dublinin linnoista, mennä katsomaan rugby ottelua, ehkä kaupungin ulkopuolella vuorilla, jossain museossa sekä monessa pubissa (:-D). Onkohan siinä tarpeeksi tekemistä? Jos jollain on vielä vinkkejä niin antaa tulla vaan :-)

Vaatteita vaan mietin että mitä sitä pistäis päälle sinne, mutta luulen että tuulen ja veden kestävä takki ja kengät ni ei voi mennä vikaan. Hauskaa :-)

It's cheap to get there, people are nice, the view is great, we understand the language (at least some of it ;-) and it has been on the TO DO - list of Angelo for a while now. I was IN right away!

I went and booked us tickets from a cheap airline company and it surprised me in the end how many extra costs they added to the price. But they were still cheap tickets if you divide it by two. Finding a good hotel was a totally different story... Nothing was good after I read reviews all night and changed my mind constantly. I chose one but then I woke up this morning and changed the hotel to another one just to end up taking the first one after all. I am still not sure if it was a good choise but I guess we will find out when we get there!

We plan to go at least to the breweries of Guinness and  Jameson, Trinity College, one of the many castles in Dublin, to a museum, see a rugby game, maybe go outside the city to the mountains and of course to many many pubs (:-D). I wonder if that's enough? If someone has some tips, let me know :-)

I was wondering what to wear though. But I think I can't go wrong with a jacket and shoes that holds against rain and wind. :-P Ohh, can't wait :-)
