Eilen me oltiin huvipuistossa. Se oli itseasiassa mun eka kerta täällä Belgiassa. Aamulla näytti vähän pahalta kun satoi ja oli harmaata, sitten tuli vielä pari kuuroa mutta klo12 jälkeen oli ihan aurinkoista ja aika lämmintäkin. Se sade ehkä pelästytti ihmiset jäämään kotiin kun jonotusaika oli maksimissaan 10 minuuttia ja joskus päästiin suoraankin laitteisiin. Hieno homma :-)
Se puisto oli tosi kiva, kaunis paikka. Siel oli paljon erilaisia laitteita mutta mun mielestä ihan hirveesti vuoristoratoja ja oikeestaan vain yksi meni ihan ylösalaisin. Monet laitteet olivat lapsiystävällisiä ni ei ne olleet niin pelottavia (mun mielestä) kuin esim Linnanmäellä, Helsingissä. Lippu maksoi 22euroa, normaalisti se oli 32euroa mut siel oli joku tarjous tällä kertaa. Aika kallista kyllä jos miettii et menis koko perheen kanssa...
Päivä meni ihan hirmu nopeesti ja kuuden maissa me tultiin junalla takaisin. Ehkä me mennään ensi kerralla toiseen puistoon, se on kyllä tuolla ranskankielisellä puolella ni sinne on aika paljon pidempi matka.

The park was really nice, pretty place. They had a lot of different attractions but in my opinion way too many rollercoasters and only just one that went upside down. Most attractions were children friendly so they weren't as scary (in my opinion) as the ones in the amusement parks in Finland. The ticket was 22euros, normally it costs 32 euros but they had a discount this time. Quite expensive if you think you'd go with the whole family..
The day went really fast and by six we took the train back home. Maybe we will go to an other park next time, though it's at the French side of Belgium so it takes much longer to get there.

Just Kaija and me
Vihdoin mä pääsin nauttimaan mun parhaan ystäväni Kaijan seurasta oikeen kunnolla. Me ollaan menty koko heinäkuu ja puolet elokuusta pahasti ristiin. Ensin mä olin lomalla, sitten Kaija Virossa (kotikonnuilla) ja sitten taas minä. Nyt me ollaan samassa maassa ni eiku heti kylään :-)
Me istuttiin ulkona kun ilta-aurinko lämmitti vielä kivasti. Sit me höpöteltiin, mä annoin Kaijalle tuliaisia ja kiitokset siitä kun oli huolehtinut meidän Mimistä. Toinen ystävämme oli antanut vanhoja vaatteita Kaijalle ni me sit kokeiltiin niitä ja mä tulinkin kotiin kahden kassin kanssa! Olikos siinä nyt kolmet farkut (Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY ja Miss sixty), yhdet valkoiset housut, monet mustat housut, kaksi kauluspaitaa ja pari muuta paitaa. Ne housut ovat kyllä aika pitkiä että äiti ota se ompelukone vaan jo esille ;-D
Nyt on sitten viikonloppu, ihanaa!! Huomenna me mennään huvipuistoon, jipii :-)

First I was on holiday, then she went to Estonia (home sweet home) and then I left again. But now we are in the same country so I immediately went to visit her yesterday :-)
We sat outside cuz the evening sun was still nice and warm. Then we talked, I gave my souvenirs and thank you - presents to her for taking care of my precious Mimi. Our other friend had given Kaija some old clothes so we tried them on. I came home with two full bags with at least 3 pairs of jeans (Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY and Miss sixty), one pair of white pants, many many pairs of black pants, two collar shirts and a few other shirts. The pants are all too long though so mom take out your sewing machine already ;-D
Now it's almost weekend, yay!! Tomorrow we are going to an amusement park, yay :-)

Me oltiin eilen mun veljen häissä. Ihana sää onneksi! Mutta Naantalissa paistaa tottakai aina aurinko, se ei ole siis erikoista että nytkin paistoi siniseltä taivaalta. Hääpari oli kaunis, rakastunut ja onnellinen. Kaikki oli täydellistä. :-) Mulla oli vähän outo olo kun oli tukka ja naama laitettu, tuntui että näytin vanhemmalta mutta ei se mitään.

Preparations have started...
Huomenna ovat ne veljeni häät! Mä olen tänään aloittanut jo valmistelut lakkaamalla kynnet. En ole kova meikkaamaan tai lakkaamaan kynsiä (onkohan tämä nyt kolmas kerta kun itse teen ne??), joten siinä kesti aika kauan hehe. Ja sit mä unohdin ne kynnet heti ja puraisin vähän tosta reunasta argh. Huomenna taidan saada tehdä tän homman alusta asti uudestaan mutta ei se mitään.
Me mennään äidin kanssa kampaajalle heti aamusta ja sinne tulee meikkaaja myös. Aika jännää. Tunnistaakohan Angelo mut sit viel?? Eli sunnuntaina varmaan saan ekat kuvat näytettyä teille miten ne meni :-)

Me ei olla suoraan sanottuna tehty paljon mitään, mutta sehän on se loman pääasia oikeestaan eikö? Me ollaan käyty vähän kävelemässä, kuvaamassa joutsenia, kiertelemässä Salon kaupungissa ja eilen vielä illalla käytiin mökillä uimassa. Mä saan sen täydellisen lomafiiliksen kun voin kellua siellä järvessä ja katsella sinistä taivasta hiljaisuudessa. Vesi oli kyllä vain 20 asteista mutta saunan jälkeen se tuntui kivan virkistävältä. :-)
Loppuviikoksi ei ole paljon sen enempää ohjelmaa kuin lepoa vaan. Me käydään ehkä vielä uimassa, pyöräilemässä, torilla.. Odotellaan kovasti jo niitä lauantain häitä :-) Kravaatin teko on vielä vähän hakusessa mutta kai youtubesta joku video löytyy miten se tehdään ;-)

I get in to the perfect holiday mood when I am floating in the lake and watching the blue sky in total silence. The water was only 20 degrees but after sauna it just felt nicely refreshing :-)
We don't have much plans for the rest of the week except resting. We will go maybe swim some more, bike around and perhaps make a visit to the local market. We are already waiting for the wedding on Saturday :-) now we just need to make a tie knot, but I guess we can find a video on Youtube how to make one ;-)

Suomessa ollaan!! :-) Meidän matka alkoi Lahdesta kun me käytiin vierailemassa Annan ja Jarkon luona. En ollut nähnyt Annaa yli vuoteen!
Me aloitettiin ihan rennosti lauantaina sidukalla (kuinka olinkaan sinua taas kaivannut sidukkaiseni!) ja käytiin syömässä ihanassa ravintola Santa Fé:ssä, nami nami. Mä otin BBQ kana wrapin ja Angelo söi oikein tulisen ja maukkaan näköisen hampurilaisen. Sitten me vähän kierreltiin Lahden yöelämässä, joka oli aika rauhallinen siihen nähden että oli kuitenkin viikonloppu. Olivat varmaan kaikki mökillä nauttimassa viimeisistä lomapäivistään, en valittanut sittenhän oli meille enemmän tilaa. ;-) Me käytiin sellasessa paikassa kuin Alexin Panimo. Angelo halus tilata nelos oluen ja mä tilasin sitten Karhua, no se nainen ihan melkein vihastui minulle että ketä kehtaa tilata Karhua kun on omakin olut. Mä sitten siinä selitin että en ole Lahdesta enkä tunne heidän oluitaan joten Angelo sai sitten maistiaisen ja rohkaistui maistamaan heidän tummaa sekä vaaleaa olutta. Mä maistoin myös ja maukastahan se oli. Ja mikä parasta, se oli ihan järjettömän halpaa!! Puoli litraa sitä kultaista nestettä maksoi 3,50 euroa! Siis jopa halvempaa kuin Belgiassa :-D
Seuraava päivä jatkui sitten Lahden nähtävyyksien ja kirpparien parissa. Meitä suosi sää kyllä ihan hitsisti ja aurinko paistoi tosi kivasti. Heti aamusta me ampaistiin tietysti Lahden suurimman (tai se pää ainaki) ja suosituimman turstinähtävyyden äärelle eli Jari Litmasen patsaalle!! Joo joo siel on sen patsas,hehe. Angelo kun on ollut jo 15 vuotiaasta iso Jartsa fani ni tämä oli selkeästi hänen kohokohtansa :-D Harmi ku ei itse Jartsaan törmätty... Hauska tarina sillai että Jari oli nuorempana tullut testaamaan meidän paikalliseen joukkueeseen Belgiaan mutta siellä ne sano et Jari ei ole tarpeeksi hyvä... Lopun te sit ehkä teidättekin hänen huippuhetkistään Ajaxissa Hollannissa. Belgialaiset voivat olla sokeita joskus.
Me käytiin aamupalalla Lahden satamassa sellasessa mega symppis paikassa joka oli niin pysähtynyt ajassa. Mä sain megalomafiiliksen siellä. :-) Käppäiltiin siinä sitten vielä josta matka jatkui parille kirppikselle josta tietysti löytyi kaikkea kivaa :-D Ei kai sitä tyhjin käsin voi lähteä ulos kun on kerta niin halpaa!! Anna löysi kivan takin ja Angelokin reipastui ja osti kaksi peliä. :-D Seuraavaksi vuorossa oli mun matkan kohokohta kun me mentiin Lahden mäkihyppytornille josta näkee koko Lahden sen loistossaan. Ihan mieletön näky!! Mä laitan alle kuvia että voitte itse myös vähän kokea sitä mitä me nähtiin.

We started our visit relaxed with some cider (oh how I have missed you my cider.. !) and with a meal at this great restaurant called Santa Fé, yummm. I took BBQ chicken wrap and Angelo took a very spicy, tasty chicken burger. Then we took a poke at the nightlife in Lahti, but it surprised me how quiet it was seeing it was a Saturday night, but I wasn't complaining cuz that just means there is more space for us. ;-) We went to this place called Alex's brewery. Angelo wanted to order a common Finnish beer but then the lady was little bit upset that we didn't want to taste their own beer. I explained we weren't locals so she gave Angelo a little taste and then he was brave enough to taste both the dark and the blonde beer. I must say it was really good and the best thing was that it was really cheap! It was 3,50eur for a half a liter. You must understand that a normal beer 0,33l costs easily 5 to 6 euros in Finland, so that that 3,50eur was really peanuts!!
On Sunday we decided it's time to do some sightseeing and hit the second hand markets. The weather was really on our side. The first thing we did after we woke up was to go see the biggest (at least his head..) and most popular thing in Lahti.. The statue of Jari Litmanen!! (to those who don't know him, firstly shame on you! Secondly, he is one of the biggest Finnish football players and made his career in Ajax). Our Angelo has been a big fan of him since he was like 15 years old so of course we just had to visit the statue :-D Pity he himself was no where to be seen...
Then we had breakfast at this overly cute place where the time just stood still. :-D I got a mega holiday feeling when I ate there. Then we walked around the harbor of Lahti before hitting the second hand store. I found all kinds of cute things again, but how can I not when everything is so cheap! Anna found a nice jacket and even Angelo bought two games. Then was the highlight of my trip when we went to the ski jumping tower in Lahti where you can see the whole city from high above. Breathtaking :-)) I've put pictures below for you to enjoy the view with me.
Pity that the distances in Finland are so long that we had to leave again to set our trip futher. So we said goodbye to the lovely Anna, her Jarkko and their hairless and hairy pets. Thank you so much for your hospitality, for letting us stay there and for showing us Lahti :-) We will see each other soon enough tho, because Anna is planning to come to Antwerp again soon :-)

Anna found a nice jacket and even Angelo bought two games. Then was the highlight of my trip when we went to the ski jumping tower in Lahti where you can see the whole city from high above. Breathtaking :-)) I've put pictures below for you to enjoy the view with me.
Pity that the distances in Finland are so long that we had to leave again to set our trip futher. So we said goodbye to the lovely Anna, her Jarkko and their hairless and hairy pets. Thank you so much for your hospitality, for letting us stay there and for showing us Lahti :-) We will see each other soon enough tho, because Anna is planning to come to Antwerp again soon :-)
